TRY THIS QUIZ

http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=7095N

I undertook a quiz on this guy's site.........May it be right???

You scored as a Emergent/Postmodern
You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Emergent/Postmodern 82%

Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 75%

Neo orthodox 64%

Classical Liberal 50%

Reformed Evangelical 46%

Charismatic/Pentecostal 46%

Modern Liberal 43%

Fundamentalist 29%

Roman Catholic 29%

HARRY POTTER AND ORDER OF THE PHIONEX

Just back from seeing Harry Potter. Not a bad picture, but not the best.

I remember a lot of fuss when the books first came out and indeed the films. Was it all really worth the hype? I mean all the witchcraft stuff and the supposedly anti-Christian sentiment.

I seemed to hear many Christians saying we should not read the book, not go to the films. For me, I can't see the harm. What do others think?

Anyway's Evan Almighty is next on the hit list. It's about some guy who gets told to build an arc. Is there some biblical reference here? I might have missed it!!!!

Holiday

Just back from holiday. Had a great time. We had told the kids we were going to Spain, then surprised them at the last minute that we were going to Florida.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. It really was truly amazing. We had almost two weeks in Orlando, with a weekend in Birmingham Alabama. Here we met up with some great friends. Peter and Sallie; Bubba and Ginger, who looked after us so well. Then the folks that took us out for a meal...and so many others, it was really just like visiting old friends!!!!

This week has been back to normal, and next it's the Holiday Club...A week of fun and stuff...then on Saturday 11th I have lined myself to be in the stocks and have people throw wet sponges at me!! Not sure how that happened!!

No doubt pictures will appear somewhere!!!
