WELL I NEVER

Just when you thought the world couldn't get any weirder. IT DOES

Found out on Sunday night that we had been added to youtube. Me and Pam trying to work out how to work the blooming 'itoy'thing that Jessica brought down.

So here we are for all the world to see making fools of ourselves..........and how many of a star rating do we get....Not one....NOT ONE. I am not annoyed, no, gggrrrrrrrr

So, if you are going to make public humiliation of us...at least vote!!

DRUG PROOF

I was on a training course at the weekend called 'How To Drug proof Your Kids' to say it was an education would be an understatement.....Hope to be presenting the course in the not too distant future with parents in the community.

General Assembly

I hear that the Church of Scotland is having its General Assembly this week. Has anyone heard anything about it????

Lastly

I get loads of emails from loads of people asking for money. How can you know if their are genuine or not. Does anyone else have the same problem??

We were up in Oban at the weekend for Pam's dad's 80th birthday. We saw this amazing Sunset. Just wanted to share it with you.

BLOOMING SHOPS

I was in a few shops on Friday, you know, the ones in these retail parks. And you walk in these places and no one is interested that you are there. You ask them for help and it feels like you are disturbing them....I really hate that when it happens. You wander up and say sorry to bother you, and you feel like you really are dragging them away from something so...important...GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR

Anyway we had a good weekend, Jess had her 14th birthday and we all went out for dinner to a well known pizza place. Now that was good, but this time we refused the option of taking home that last piece of Pizza home, because we always take it home and we never eat it!!

Radio GaGa

Have you been listening to Sunny Govan radio??? I do recommend this to you. Its great fun and a good community station. Also the music is as varied as you can get. The other day while listening we moved effortlessly from Pink Floyd to Lena Martell. With no break in the music at all.

YOUTH CONCERT

Tomorrow and Thursday sees our 5th Youth Concert. And we are looking forward to a good couple of nights with lots of money (hopefully) being raise for charity!

BURNT HEAD.....AND ITS ONLY APRIL

April has saw me get my head burnt already. The summer is supposed to be amazing this year. We were in Wales for a week after Easter, then London for a weekend for Pam's sisters birthday. great times. Anyway this leads me to a problem, and more importantly a problem for all those who have to walk the streets with me......what hat do I wear. I have a variety, none of which make me look trendy....so how about some suggestions for this summer (see below). Also, our new car (green by the way) has a sunroof, so if requires to be suitable for 'car wear' as well.











ALL CHANGE

At the church it has been 'all change'. The music group has now expanded and requires a space of its own. So, That's a Tuesday; ReFresh is now a Sunday; Fusion is now a Thursday. I hope this will all settle down through time.

Bible Study has started again and house groups begin in June...exciting times indeed.

POLITICS

Well, the election is over. Will we see a new change is politics and the way people treat each other? Lets pray for that. Hope its not going to be same old same old!!!

THE PARTY'S OVER

Last Saturday saw me end a four year stint as Secretary of the Federation in Scotland. Glad its done and prayers and best wishes to those who take over!!!
