FINALLY..........TOM MORTON GETS TO MEET ALAN GIBBON
Last Sunday night myself and Pam took ourselves off to the ABC2 in Sauchiehall Street to see Tom Morton who was on the bill with Joe West, the other band never turned up, something about a broken clutch somewhere in Glen Coe. It was an excellent night, good music and good company. After the show I did my anorak thing and went over and introduced myself to Tom. He even knew who I was (aka The real Congregational Minister). A genuine nice guy who chatted for a while and allowed us a photo (see below), but alas, still no teapot. The hunt goes on.

Here I must make a confession, I did try to bribe an Accountant at the BBC for a teapot. I am ashamed to say. She has still not delivered the teapot, just proves bribary does not work!
Anyway, back to the radio. I started listening to the radio on September 11th 2001. For those of you who have forgotten the date it was the day the twin towers came down. I had never listened much before then and have seldom stopped listening since. I mainly listen to Radio Scotland and when not trying to win the competitions on Tom Morton's show I listen to a whole variety of programmes which have enlightened me, stimulated me, made me laugh and made me think. I would encourage all to give radio a chance. I now find myself listening to Radio 4 on the long drives back from Dundee because.... well because it is a good thing to do. It stimulates the mind.
I get a lot of stick about my radio listening, and guess what, Sarah Grant...one who gives me a hard time!!!! Was on Radio Scotland this week....Oh, Sarah will I take the chance to play it back in church????????
A lot has happened since my last post of dancing around the living room. The person I was dancing with agreed to marry me, yes I know, lucky me. She wasn't even drunk when she said yes! We will keep you posted on events.
THE PRAt MOBILE
The PRAt mobile will soon be no more. It is going to the Ex Rover Store. It will be replaced by something with grace that will be able to get us around from shore to shore. Pictures hopefully this week but the last three initials are OCR - let's see what you can make of them!
THE FUNNY THINGS PEOPLE SAY
I made mention of a pink top, in all innocence. Pam made lots of mention of the pink top, to my embarrassment. I am afraid it is all too rude for here. You will have to ask Pam.
