We Are March(ing) On
Well, that was February then!!!!! The end of February was its usual busy self and also saw the start of our Cross Connections outreach so, leaflets and a questionaire. That has brought some interesting results, probably more of that to come later, but it has been an eyeopener. Some real interesting responses.
I was off on the primary 7 school trip from Bankhead, and that was good. Did some mountain biking a ropes course and some climbing and it was good interaction with the school, but it was even better to come back home. There is something special about being back with the people you really care about.
We were treated to a great concert in the Church on Thursday from the 'Take Note' choir. Out of their generosity they doubled the amount we had raised.
Then three new members at the Church on Sunday. Their is something nice about welcoming new people into God's family. I wore my dog coller for the first time this year. I have been surprised that so many people HAVEN'T asked why. Should I explain? Mabye if someone askes me to on here I will.
POLITICS
I watch with dismay again watching the goings on at Holyrood, and at Westminster. At Holyrood, it seems the roof is going to come in literally!! And all the attention goes from the politcs and back to the building!!! People lining up for cheap comments, but at least it keeps the comady people going!
Then the culture sec. is in a stew. Or is she? Has she done wrong? Is she guilty? Shall we see a good person go because people smell blood? It really gets me down when people are shot down and evidence seems to be almost a secondary feature of the debate. I wish peole were judged on the truth of the matter rather than the gossip. Myabe one day
CARS
Many people have heard all my pinions on the 4x4 that are all over the west end (more per head of the population in the west end of Glasgow than anyplace else in Scotland). Well the other day I was forced to take a lift in one....boy did people find that funny
