DRYMEN 10k
1 Hour 15 mins!!

Arrived at Drymen...place was busy, and a lot of serious runners about. Wasn't really expecting that. Anyway we set off sharp at 1.00 pm, through Drymen, up through forests (mind you no one mentioned hills being part of the bargin.
1st 5k was reasonable going, managed to do that without a break. I can honestly say no problem.....The hill was harder...a lot harder...OK very hard, so I walked for about 1k. Then it was the run down into the village. I won't be entering for London 2012, but I did finish and I have a medal to show for it.
Finally big thanks to all who have supported me. Over £600 at the moment it was one of the top amounts. If you still want to give go to www.justgiving.com and add my name in the friends box.

Nice job!
Good to see you finished successfully, and in one piece.
And why not London 2012 - that's almost four years to get the practise in! It'll be easy! :P
Well done with the fundraising too!
:)
