THE BLOOMING RAIN
How come every time we try and do some gardening or wash the cars or something it always comes on rain. What's the deal with that!!!!!!
Today, I was even washing cars in the rain because I hadn't quite finished. How mad is that.
Anyway...still the garden remains.
At Bible Study the other night someone suggested that heaven would be like a garden......Could you imagine eternity cutting grass....could you??? Honestly????
Anyway the garden still awaits, any volunteers?
And what about Glasgow getting the Commonwealth Games. It's great honour for the city, I just hope that the expense is worthwhile and that it adds real value to people's lives.
THE BURNING QUESTION
What sport would I be good at for the Commonwealth Games?? Any??

"It was one of those perfect summer days - the sun was shining, a breeze was blowing, the birds were singing, and the lawn mower was broken."
James Dent
Just saw this and remembered the whole garden thing.
As for the Games, who knows. It ought to be good for the East End anyway, more buildings to be vandalised...but that's judgemental. I mean, whatever they construct probably won't be conventional enough to look like a building.
Well It is a close tie between "the Dundonian fast-incomprehensible- speaking contest", "the bridie (and a ninganingana) eating contest" or "The catch up to Bruce Springsteen race". hmmm
